    Armand coule une pré-retraite dorée sous le soleil de la Côte d'Azur, entre sa boutique de prêt-à-porter, sa Viviane chérie et… son jardin secret : l'Aline Roc. Une terrasse, vue sur la mer, où, chaque midi, en dégustant sa sole grillée, il s'isole, s'évade et rêve. Oui, mais voilà, l'Aline Roc va être vendu…

    (Armand is living out his last few years before retirement in comfort and style on the French Riviera. His clothes shop provides him with a comfortable income and he happily divides his leisure time between his two loves, his girlfriend Viviane and his favourite street restaurant, l’Aline Roc. Armand could not ask for a more idyllic life. Then he learns, to his horror, that l’Aline Roc is to be sold to a property developer who intends to build in its place a hotel for Russian millionaires. Mild mannered Armand has absolutely no intention of letting this happen…)
