The 100th Running of the Monte Carlo Rally.
One of the most famous and prestigious rallies in the world, Rallye Monte-Carlo, which turns 100 in 2011, forms the opening round of the IRC for the third successive season.
The asphalt event starts in Valence in the heart of France’s Ardèche region and finishes in Monaco’s harbour front following three full days of gruelling competition on challenging mountain roads, which
are often coated in snow and ice.
