Mr. Chance perd sa maison au cours d'une partie de poker face à un caricatural producteur de disques, Max Taylor. Ce dernier prend aussitôt possession des lieux avec sa famille. Ils font alors la sinistre connaissance d'un bouffon, le 'Funny Man', qui habite les lieux. Le sang va bientôt couler abondamment dans une suite de scènes macabres aussi imaginatives qu'hystériques…
(A mysterious Englishman loses his ancestral home in a poker game to a brash, young music producer, Max Taylor. When Max decides to uproot his family for a long term visit to their new mansion, all guests are in store for a chilling surprise.)
