Hairstylist Frances Sperry's name was misspelled "Francis" in the opening credits. Although onscreen cast credits list John Maxwell's character name as "Don Melrose," he is called "Dan" throughout the film. Cage of Evil was the first release of Zenith Pictures, Inc. a production company formed in 1960 by Edward Small to create low-budget films for release by United Artists. The Zenith name superseded Small's Premium Pictures, Inc. and produced eight films. Modern sources add Howard Jackson (Orig mus) to the crew.
