Quel fantastico peggior anno della mia vita / Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015)

E' la storia divertente e commovente di Greg, un liceale che cerca di mimetizzarsi evitando relazioni profonde, come strategia di sopravvivenza in quel campo minato che è la vita sociale dei teenagers. Greg descrive persino il suo costante compagno Earl, con il quale realizza cortometraggi-parodia di classici del cinema, più come un collega che come il suo migliore amico. Ma quando sua madre (Connie Britton) insiste affinché lui passi del tempo con Rachel, una compagna di scuola recentemente colpita da un cancro, Greg scopre pian piano quanto valore può avere un vero legame di amicizia.
