007: The World Is Not Enough (1999)

James Bond recovers the money from the billionaire Robert King by a Swiss banker in Bilbao, but he can not know who was to kill one of his colleagues, because the banker is murdered by his secretary.
Bond is mysteriously helped out alive from the study of the banker and brings money to the billionaire. He realizes too late that his opponent has spared to give him the money, which, imbued with an explosive substance, are intended to cause the death of King.

James Bond recupera i soldi del miliardario Robert King da un banchiere svizzero a Bilbao, ma non riesce a sapere chi sia stato ad uccidere un suo collega, poiché il banchiere viene assassinato dalla sua segretaria.
Bond viene misteriosamente aiutato a uscire vivo dallo studio del banchiere e riporta i soldi al miliardario. Si accorge troppo tardi che il suo antagonista lo ha risparmiato per fargli consegnare quei soldi, che, intrisi di una sostanza esplosiva, sono destinati a causare la morte di King.

M affida a Bond l'incarico di proteggere la figlia di King, Elektra, dal terrorista Viktor Zokas, che l'aveva rapita in passato e che sembra le abbia ucciso anche il padre.
Dopo aver affrontato nemici pericolosi, ed essere stato messo di fronte ad un orribile verità e all'altrettanto orribile piano dei suoi antagonisti, Bond si godrà il Capodanno a Istanbul con la sua aiutante, la dottoressa Christmas Jones.
