Bella returns to Forks with Edward after the mishap with the Volturi in Italy. The girl must choose between continuing her friendship with Jacob the werewolf or stop seeing him as Edward is extremely bothered by their relationship. Meanwhile, Victoria, the vampire who was part of the nomadic clan of James, followed Bella to avenge the death of his comrade was killed by Cullen family. His presence becomes tangible when Edward and Bella in the newspapers is the news of several heinous crimes committed by strangers in the city of Seattle. The boys meanwhile, are preparing for graduation, an event that will mean the end of mortal life of Bella, as Carlisle had promised her that after graduating he would have turned into a vampire.
