In Fast and Furious 7, il gruppo di Dominic Toretto dovrà affrontare Ian Shaw, il fratello di Owen in cerca di vendetta. Dopo gli eventi di Londra, Han viene assassinato a Tokyo da Deckard Shaw (come abbiamo appreso dall'ultima scena del sesto capitolo). Shaw vuole vendicare la morte del fratello e inizia a dare la caccia alla "famiglia" di Dom Toretto. Le vite di quest'ultimo e tutti gli altri, Roman, Tej, Letty, Brian e Mia, sono in pericolo. Anche l'agente Hobbs è sotto tiro, ma un ufficiale governativo che opera nell'ombra è pronto a fornire a Dom e al suo team strumenti e risorse necessari per eliminare Shaw. Per arrivare a questo devono prima liberare un misterioso hacker, rapito da un gruppo di terroristi, che ha creato un congegno capace di localizzare qualunque individuo in tempo reale sull'intero pianeta.

Dominic and his crew thought they left the criminal mercenary life behind. They defeated an international terrorist named Owen Shaw and went their seperate ways. But now, Shaw's brother, Deckard Shaw is out killing the crew one by one for revenge. Worse, a Somalian terrorist called Jakarde, and a shady government official called "Mr. Nobody" are both competing to steal a computer terrorism program called God's Eye, that can turn any technological device into a weapon. Torretto must reconvene with his team to stop Shaw and retrieve the God's Eye program while caught in a power struggle between terrorist and the United States government.
