Vincenzo Marazzi, detto "Il Gobbo", un famigerato criminale romano, torna dopo una lunga latitanza in Corsica. Suo fratello Sergio, detto "Er Monnezza", meccanico e piccolo ladruncolo, lo idolatra ma non ne è all'altezza. "Il Gobbo" contatta dei suoi vecchi compari ed organizza una rapina ad un furgone portavalori ma viene da questi tradito rischiando di restare ucciso in una sparatoria.

Inizia la terribile vendetta del protagonista, ostacolata solo in parte dal commissario Sarti, il quale tenta di usare "Er Monnezza" come esca, facendolo rinchiudere in un ospedale psichiatrico, espediente beffardamente sbugiardato. Consapevole del suo inesorabile declino "Il Gobbo" e la sua fidanzata si recano in un locale esclusivo suscitando il dileggio del personale e degli avventori i quali a sua volta umilia costringendoli ad assumere lassativi.

Brothers Till We Die (Italian: La banda del gobbo) is an Italian poliziottesco-action film directed in 1978 by Umberto Lenzi. This film is the last collaboration among Lenzi and Tomas Milian. In this movie Milian plays two characters, Vincenzo Marazzi aka "The Hunchback" that he already played for Lenzi in Rome Armed to the Teeth, and his twin brother Sergio Marazzi aka "Er Monnezza", a role that he played for the first time in Lenzi's Free Hand for a Tough Cop and later resumed in Destruction Force by Stelvio Massi.

Der verkrüppelte Vincenzo ist dem Gespött der Leute ausgesetzt, dabei ist er ein eiskalter Killer, hochgefährlich und mit mächtig Wut im Bauch.
