Primavera 1958. Rose Pamphyle ha 21 anni e vive con suo padre, un burbero vedovo titolare dell'emporio di un piccolo villaggio in Normandia. Rose è promessa in sposa al figlio del proprietario dell'autofficina e l'attende un destino di casalinga docile e devota. Ma Rose non vuole saperne di una vita del genere. Così decide di partire per Lisieux, dove il trentaseienne Louis Echard, carismatico titolare di un'agenzia di assicurazioni, sta cercando una segretaria. Il colloquio per l'assunzione è un fiasco totale. Ma Rose ha un dono: batte i tasti della macchina per scrivere a una velocità vertiginosa e così riesce suo malgrado a risvegliare l'ambizioso sportivo che sonnecchia in Louis… Se vuole ottenere il posto, Rose dovrà partecipare a delle gare di velocità dattilografica. Ignorando i sacrifici che la giovane dovrà compiere per raggiungere l'obiettivo, Louis si improvvisa allenatore e decreta che farà di Rose la dattilografa più veloce di Francia, e perfino del mondo! E l'amore per la competizione sportiva non va necessariamente d'accordo con l'amore puro e semplice…

Spring, 1958. 21-year-old Rose Pamphyle lives with her grouchy widower father who runs the village store. Engaged to the son of the local mechanic, she seems destined for the quiet, drudgery-filled life of a housewife. But that's not the life Rose longs for. When she travels to Lisieux in Normandy, where charismatic insurance agency boss Louis Echard is advertising for a secretary, the ensuing interview is a disaster. But Rose reveals a special gift - she can type at extraordinary speed. Unwittingly, the young woman awakens the dormant sports fan in Louis. If she wants the job she'll have to compete in a speed typing competition. Whatever sacrifices Rose must make to reach the top, Louis declares himself her trainer. He'll turn her into the fastest girl not only in the country, but in the world! But a love of sport doesn't always mix well with love itself .

Recovery Volumes (.rev)
Recovery volumes or .rev files are special files which can be created by WinRAR/RAR and allow you to reconstruct missing and damaged files in a volume set. They can
only be used with multi-volume archives.
This feature may be useful for backups or, for example, when you post a multivolume archive to a newsgroup and some of the subscribers did not receive some files. Reposting recovery volumes instead of usual volumes may reduce the total number of files to repost.
Each recovery volume is able to reconstruct one missing RAR volume. For example, if you have 30 volumes and 3 recovery volumes, you are able to reconstruct any 3 missing volumes. If the number of .rev files is less than a number of missing volumes, reconstructing is impossible. The total number of usual and recovery volumes must not exceed 255 and the number of recovery volumes must be less than the number of RAR volumes.
WinRAR reconstructs missing and damaged volumes either when clicking on .rev file, or when using rc command or automatically, if it cannot locate the next volume and finds the required number of .rev files when unpacking.
You may use the "Recovery volumes" option in the Archive name and parameters dialog or a similar option also appears in the Protect archive command to create recovery volumes. In the command line mode you may do it with -rv switch or rv command.
Original copies of damaged volumes are renamed to *.bad before reconstruction. For example, volname.part03.rar will be renamed to volname.part03.rar.bad.
