Il Buongiorno Del Mattino (2011)

Quando la brillante produttrice televisiva Becky Fuller (McAdams) viene licenziata dal TG locale, la sua carriera inizia a sembrarle tanto sfortunata quanto la sua sventurata vita sentimentale. Per coincidenze si trova un nuovo lavoro a "Daybreak" (il programma della mattina con i rating più bassi), Becky decide di rivitalizzare il programma riportando in scena il conduttore storico Mike Pomeroy (Ford). Sfortunatamente, Pomeroy rifiuta di trattare classici temi del mattino come gossip di celebrità, meteo, moda e mestieri – e non ha nessuna voglia di lavorare affianco alla sua co-conduttrice Colleen Peck (Keaton), una ex-miss e ormai personaggio molto riconosciuto dei programmi mattuttini, che è più che disposta a trattare quel genere di “notizie”. Mentre Mike e Colleen si scontrano, prima tra le quinte e poi in onda, la storia d’amore tra Becky e il suo collega produttore Adam Bennett (Wilson) inizia a disfarsi – tutto ad un tratto Becky si trova a dover salvare la prorpia relazione, reputazione, lavoro e infine anche il programma.

Becky (Rachel McAdams) is a hard-working morning TV show producer, or at least she was until she got fired. Desperate to get a job, she finally gets an interview with Jerry (Jeff Goldblum) - who is desperate to hire a producer for the struggling show "Daybreak". Becky accepts the job and it proves to be more difficult than even she might be able to handle. She has to fire the sexist co-host, then try to convince egotistical news reporter, Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford), to take the job, and then try and get him to actually do the job, properly. And she has to do this while falling for handsome Adam (Patrick Wilson), and trying to save the show from plummeting ratings. Will Becky be able to hold on to her dream job and her sanity?
