Gustavo Godendo è un cuoco che lavora in una trattoria "molto" romana, ma sogna di diventare un grande chef internazionale. Con lui: un lavapiatti toscano, Cecco, in cerca di avventure con donne sopra i settanta, Rocky, un cameriere romano dai trascorsi come pugile, e la mascotte Gualtiero, un simpatico porcellino d’India. Grazie ad uno stratagemma di Fabio, il figlio di Paolo al quale questi è molto legato, la strampalata combriccola riesce a farsi ingaggiare per un banchetto di nozze estremamente chic a Saint Moritz. Promessi sposi sono Chris, ex fidanzata di Fabio, e Steve, figlio di un banchiere svizzero ai cui soldi mira il padre della ragazza, avendo già dilapidato l’eredità della moglie.A complicare la giù ingarbugliata situazione, intervengono due wedding planner ostinatamente single: Gina, che ha un debole per Steve, e Palma che tenta inutilmente di sedurre Cecco.
