Cocochi - Israel Cárdenas, Laura Amelia Guzmán - 2007

Evaristo and Tony, indigenous brothers from the northwest of Mexico , have just graduated from elementary school when they receive an assignment from their grandfather: to deliver some medicine at the other extreme of the Sierra Tarahumara. Tony and Evaristo, dreading the long road ahead, decide to take their grandfathers horse and set off on a journey that becomes longer than they expected.

En el norte de México se encuentra el valle de Okochochi. Es tierra de los Raramuri, una comunidad indígena que lucha por mantener vivas su lengua, cultura, creencias y tradiciones. Los hermanos Evaristo y Luis Antonio son dos niños pertenecientes a esta comunidad. Un día, la familia recibe el aviso de que uno de sus familiares se encuentra enfermo y necesita unas medicinas. Los niños emprenderán el viaje a caballo, propiedad del abuelo y su animal más preciado. Lo que sucederá en el accidentado camino, cambiará la vida de estos pequeños aventureros.
