Starting with his own sitcom experience, and how hard an artform it is to master, Bradley and a cast of top sitcom stars seek out the secrets of success for the British classics including Steptoe And Son, The Liver Birds, Hi-De-Hi!, The Young Ones, Gavin & Stacey, 'Allo 'Allo!, Dad's Army and Absolutely Fabulous. He asks what makes a sitcom successful? And why do some shows keep us laughing for years?
Bradley also reveals the classic moments that changed comedy forever and sees how the key to a successful sitcom is when it captures the mood of a nation.
