A comedy about a con artist–assigned through a court order to do "community service"–who must help a chronic liar (recently released from a sanitorium) begin a new life in New York City. The relationship grows more complicated and hilarious as cons, lies and mulitple identities are woven together.
Georges est un crétin givré qui a passé trois ans et demi dans un asile psuchiatrique. Eddie est un escroc qui, pour éviter la prison, a accepté de faire du travail social. Quitter l'institution fait très peur à Georeges; Heureusement, Eddie est là pour l'aider à se réintégrer dans la société. Ce qu'il ignore, c'est qu'Eddie n'a pas l'intention de l'aider très longtemps. Toutefois, ce dernier change d'avis lorsqu'un passant prend Georges pour un multimillionnaire. Eddie persuade Georges de se remettre à mentir, chose que Georges s'était juré de ne plus jamais faire…
