Angèle arrives in a Normandy fishing port in search of a new life. She meets Tony, a local fisherman who is also hoping to make a fresh start. Although he is instantly attracted towards Angèle, Tony finds it difficult to express his feelings for her and so he keeps his distance. She is too good for him, or so he thinks…
