It's hard to describe movies like this really. The story in the movie is very surreal. It jumps form point in time to another with no connecting dots whatsoever (the dots become clear at the end of the movie). Most of the movie describes (in a very satirical way) how life was back in the 90's in Macedonia, but almost half of the movie takes place in the future where all the trees and grass have disappeared for no apparent reason. But the future is a direct result of the past and what has happened in it.
