Money, sex, or love? If your last night on earth was just beginning - what would you do? This strange, dark comedy follows the lives of a handfull of Eastern European villagers for a week as strange events unfold in their small village. The village idiot, whose principal goal is to own his own motorbike, predicts the future while ogling the gypsy girls at the local carnival. The mayor prepares for an EU delegation, cheats on his wife, and attends his weekly cardgame - his last! Other village oddballs include a philandering barber, strange doctor and nurse, a priest who sleeps in a coffin, drug dealers, junkies, gypsies, midgets and smugglers … something for just about any taste! And then, there is the Russian beauty Nadia (Veronica Zemanova) whose daily walk to work turns every head in the village. Imagine the surprise when they discover that she is working as an exotic dancer at nearby night spot! Dark comedy with more than a few very good sight gags. Gypsy circus performers doing a strip-tease on whirl-a-gig carnival ride is not to be missed. But most of all there is Veronika Zemanova, who gets a lot of screen time to show off her angelic face (and more).

When Veronika enters the screen all I can say is, "wow"! damn, she's one fine woman! I think she's beyond perfection! however, we have way too many idiotic scenes, over-acting, under-acting, not really acting at all & an absolutely proposterous plot if there is one. half-way through this film I'm asking myself, why am I even bothering with the rest of this crap? there's way too much going on & not enough Veronika cause she's the only reason to see this.
