    After the death of his mother, middle-aged insurance employee inherits her small cottage surrounded by a garden. Selling the cottage which is situated on unexploited ground near the center of a big city makes him a rich man and he buys a big house in the countryside. He takes some time off and decides to throw a big garden party at the house and invite all his colleagues from the office. Aided by alcohol, the guests gradually lose all their inhibitions and reveal personality traits and frustrations that they normally keep hidden.

    Suite au deces de sa mere, un modeste employe de bureau met en vente sa petite maison qui lui rapporte une fortune car situee dans une zone a construire. Apres un conge de plusieurs mois, il invite ses collegues a une fete organisee a son nouveau domicile qui, a la stupeur de chacun, s'avere etre une veritable maison de maitre. Cette stupeur va engendrer toute une serie de comportements bien souvent maladroits. Commencee dans la bonne humeur, l'alcool aidant, cette petite fete est pour certains l'occasion d'abandonner les retenues habituelles qu'imposent le cadre professionnel. Les personnalites se revelent, provocant une serie d'evenements qui vont faire progressivement degenerer l'ambiance de la reception. Le strip tease d'une jeune stagiaire va meme provoquer une bagarre entre le petit chef garant de la morale et un employe libertin grande gueule. Au lendemain, chacun a son poste reprend son travail hormis la jeune stagiaire.
