Trainees have just gotten into their beds, and they are already called for assembly. While drill instructor is deducting points by a fistful, Sanduo is having hard time grasping that this drill is not about being friendly.
Day starts with exhausting 50 km running with logs on their backs, but they are driven by back trucks. For a reward, they get extra meal for a lunch. However, that is not enough for the trainees. They are all officers, apart from Sanduo and Chengcai, and are accustomed to a much better living, and far less effort.
