It's the second day of the test, and the last remaining soldiers, Sanduo, Liuyi and Chengcai among them, are so hungry they resort to eating raw mice meat. Some are eager to join Team A, but some are having second thoughts. Group gets ambushed, and one is to hungry to go on and gets disqualified.
Remaining are chased over wasteland. Another candidate collapses, while Chengcai prevents Sanduo from giving him his food. They leave behind collapsed comrade for medics to pick him up. Chengcai is most determined of them all to make it into the final three, regardless of the costs. Group is having hard time to orient themselves in non-distinctive environment, with no map and using only a army compass.
