There is something subtly and imperceptibly attractive even in the trash, but in those horror movies already shot is an amateur , almost without money, without quite famous actors with special effects and deliberately idiotic fight outright stories created explicitly in the atmosphere of narcotic intoxication .

Sick o pathics is a homemade (shot on video) trashy „Horror"/Exploitation Comedy that features Cameos of several Exploitation-vips. The Focus of interest here is of course the presence of the master himself: Renato Polselli enriches this product indeed enormously . The makers of it Massimo Lavagnini and Brigida Costa („servants" for magazines as „Draculina" and „Trauma")did it quite shameless: the third and last Episode of this „anthology" is an assault on the Intellect of every human being. A (fart)parody of joe d´amatos „Antropophagus" but the first two Episodes starting with „Hello Dolly" and „The poor, the flesh and the bag" are quite entertaining. It all starts great: Massimo Lavagnini with priceless rasta wig walking on the street , before him shit with a table „typical italian movie" on it (!) he jumps through it and goes further- attacking every Person who comes along his way, one women he destroys the Oranges, of one boy(who seems to be handicaped) he ripps his Arm out and he is not even affraid of a ultra evil-looking „metal" pose.

This is truly the prototype behaviour after the soccer match. Coincidently he comes to a strange house („Hellcome" on the door) to director dare dane (performed by Dardano Sachetti). Dane thinks the „visitor" is one of his many Fans and wonders if he wants an Autograph. The guy doesnt know him at all, not even his movies. Dane shows him a „special fx" (a Monster) from one of his films, when he comments this with "come on its plastic". Dane gets nuts and forces the guy (lavagnini) to show his shitty short movies and this is the wraparound story for Sickopathics consisting of three films (in total): the first starts with a Guy (Gianni Tarquini) in his car (note the litfiba cassete there) visiting a crossing between sex and comic shop (?).a sex doll has arrived for him-the shopkeeper is sergio stivaletti as „mr. Sinister"(truly a good casting - he really looks like the horned one in person). He doesn´t want money for it but his soul—the guy signs the contract with no knowledge what a doll awaits him. When at home he immediately opens it and notes that the doll is „not quite dry" infact totally wet ..and therefore used. He fells asleep when the doll starts to live and from her „genitals" is coming an alien like tentacle whith a kneedle from the mouth and stitches the arm of the sleeper. The doll then vomits a nice dose of some thick transparent liquid on the guy. Then a a kind of cocoon builds around the poor guy..(the doll is even mentioned in the credits, introduced as „Chantal"!) the next scene shows again stivalettis sex/comic(?) shop where a girl (as mentioned before) is watching quite interested a catalogue of plastic toys and notes also a new "love doll" with the poor guy (screaming) on the package of it..
the second story where polselli is featured: starts immediately with him: polselli in his typical sunglasses in mafia pose- it´s a bomb. One guy owes him money (performed by Loris curci-author of „Masters of shock" and „35 milimetri di terrore" with Massimo Lavagnini). One „companero" of polsell, a guy (max varani, who wears cannibal corpse shirt) forces curci to pay or he´ll be serious in trouble.. curci says he will have the money in a few days and the guy and polselli show mercy-till next visit. Polselli appears here under his real name!. He doesnt say a single word , just poses as a „mafioso".. Then we see a gothic girl (obviously not quite on christian side) with a bag entering her flat that is in the same building where curci lives. In a newspaper stand she forgett´s her bag—the owner of it is perfomed by marcelo bonini!! And tells curci that she left her bag, who is in the same time there. Curci takes the bag but due money trouble he decides to take a lot into it.. in the flat when curci tries to open the bag it mysteriously transforms into a kind of „monster" with an eye, mouth, arms and legs. The bag kills curci and then hellraiser-like rips a niece piece out of his girlfriend with a chain. Then we see the gothic girl after she has found her bag and taking the content out and filling the empty fridge then with the bodypieces of the victims.. before then on the street, a death metal fan (with autopsy shirt) steals her bag and running away with it..

The third and final episode „Aeorophagus" is as mentioned before a truly shameless, and very tasteless parody on „Antropophagus" from joe d´amato.It starts exactly as the original: a man and his girlfriend walking around on a greek island and then on the beach when the man listening to music and the girl in the water is seeing a strange „boat".. to write more about it is pointless-i say just that this episode is not funny to me - though the plane sequence is an exception. After this final episode lavagnini somehow manages to escape from his bounds and destroys the tapes of dane (who wanted to shim much more of it..) The last shot shows then dane wrapped with the tapes of his movies on the chair where lavagni was tortured with the „movies"- Dane´s vita seems to have left the building. All in one if you count just the wraparound and the first two episodes this is quite entertaining homemade trash, that probably wont hit „everybody´s"(bad) taste- but it´s doubtless interesting to see Polselli here and Marcelo Bonini. Other people who have cameos are: Luigi cozzi, Lucio Fulci, his daughter Antonella, Marc Antonio Andolfi (as Eddy Endolf), Antonio Margheriti, Sergio Bergonzelli, Joe´d amato (these two appear in the same episode as polselli), Stefania Stella, Linnea Quigley, David Warbeck. In first line this „production" is obviously for the fans-who are familiar with the films of these people. Other people might laugh to (the theatrical joke an international lingua) but probably they wont appreciate the several cameos of these vips, and wont give a shit about it- such people are performed by massimo lavagnini-in extreme form! What i also really like in Sick-o-pathics is the (surprisingly)very good music- especially the starting song. People/Bands who contributed music are: Corpse Fucking Art of Max Varani, Alucarda, Witches Rune, Disaster area, Fabio Varesi, Paolo Pasquali, Allesandro Salvati. After the film, the tape features „interviews" with fulci and stivaletti who both say some words and final words by a priest. sickopathics is dedicated to lucio fulci.
