Haughty Alice is in for a surprise as she reluctantly takes refuge in the residence of her fiance, Jack. She finds her maidenhead taken from her, and is surprised to discover she likes it! Alice willingly assists Jack as they explore new escapades with unwitting victims.
This Film Contains Explicit Nudity and Actual Sex Scenes
Artful, funny, just plain sexy. One thing I remember clearly, the credits list the lead actor who plays Jack as Beerbohm Tree, who was a famous actor in Victorian England (and the illegitimate grandfather of the late Oliver Reed!). This is but one of the various verbal, visual, and musical puns that are set up with great success in the film. The final scene, set to "Punishment Fit the Crime" is truly memorable! The set design, attractive cast, and G&S soundtrack combine to make this a gem in an otherwise unremarkable era for "erotica." I also remember that it was the most unpopular movie we showed at the drive-in porn theatre I worked out in the late 70's, and that alone attests to its higher level of intelligence! Love to know if anyone knows how to get a copy of this in any format!
