    Discovering that his good friend, Gloria (Gale Robbins), has quit singing to care for her poor, elderly mother, Slip Mahoney (Leo Gorcey) urges his friend Sach (Huntz Hall) to take up boxing to win the prize money in an upcoming contest. Although willing, Sach proves to be a poor athlete – so Slip engages a hypnotist who succeeds in programming Sach to fight skillfully when he sees a special coin. Sach's reputation draws the attention of a gambler, who also becomes interested in Gloria.
