Season 01 , Episode 01 - “Execution”
A look at capital punishment through the eyes of young people whose lives have been shaped by it, including interviews with victims, those on death row and their families. Each episode focuses on a key aspect of the system – execution, trial and appeal – beginning with the stories of two of the youngest men on death row in Texas, for whom execution day has arrived. Plus, Nikki Daniels reflects on her kidnapping ordeal, inflicted on her by murderer Richard Cobb.

Season 01 , Episode 02 - “Judgement”
The second film follows the trial of 26-year-old Guy Heinze Jr, with remarkable access to the jury members charged with reaching a verdict on allegations that Heinze beat his father and seven members of his family to death. As the trial progresses, there is legal manoeuvring while evidence about the brutal killings unfolds.

Season 01 , Episode 03 - “Crisis Cases”
The final film of the series follows young students from the Death Penalty Clinic at the University of Houston as they fight last-ditch appeals – known as ‘crisis cases’ – for two of the youngest killers facing execution in the US. Prison guard murderer Robert Pruett and drive-by killer Robert Garza have just weeks to live. The law students are their last hope as the clock ticks down to execution
