    At the end of World War II, when Paris was just released to the home of actor and playwright Sacha Guitry come armed men and forced him to follow them. This is the beginning of a painful and humiliating captivity, which lasted almost 60 days …

    23 aout 1944. Au petit matin, Paris se libere. Cinq hommes armes surgissent chez Sacha Guitry et l'obligent a le suivre. C'est le debut d'une captivite de soixante jours. Aucune charge precise n'est retenue contre le dramaturge, mais la rumeur dit qu'il a frequente les Allemands et travaille pour eux. Emmene a la mairie du VIIe arrondissement, au Vel d'Hiv, puis a Drancy et a la prison de Fresnes, il est couvert d'injures, inculpe pour «intelligence avec l'ennemi». A 60 ans, Sacha Guitry doit se defendre de ces accusations de collaboration pendant un proces en bonne et due forme dont il ressortira blanchi. Mais a l'issue de l'instruction, il se retrouve seul…
