Jeonju Digital Project 2000

Presented by Jeonju International Film Festival, directed by three filmmakers, Jeonju Digital Project will be the preview of our films in the future that offer us new visions. The chosen three filmmakers for the First Jeonju Digital Project are - Kwang-Su Park, Yun-Tae Kim, and Zhang Yua-in. The filmmakers were given three conditions: to make a film in digital format, no longer than 30 minutes, and using a limited production budget. The three films construct one feature-length film entitled N, representing Next Generation, New Technology and Networking which are the common themes. Projects like Jeonju Digital Project, which focus on film production, creativity, and interactive technology, reflect the spirit of JIFF as they the zeitgeist of contemporary film.



The actress who always has been in porn films starring in a serious movie which she dreamt of for a long time. But she has to shoot a scene of love making again in this film. The troubles and crash she experiences…



Ahn Song-Il, a cab driver, loses his cab. In the morning a co-worker tells him that he has seen Song-Il’s cab a few hours ago. Song-Il rushes to the place where his cab was last seen, but it's already gone. Devastated, Song-Il goes to a motel room that he once visited with his wife. He encounter a girl who lives there. Later Song-Il finds his cab at a towed-vehicle depot, but his photo on the license is replaced by that of the co-worker Hyung-Chol's. Having found out that so had forged his I.D. and license, Song-Il runs after him into a night barbershop. He overhears the talk between Hyung-Chol and his wife who has lifted her face.

She is seen on the black and white screen. A huge ring is on one of her fingers and her fingernails are finely manicured. She wears a worried look. As the screen changes into color, she is smiling with gorgeous dress and makeup on. What has happened to her? There is nothing notable in the talk she gives to the audience, but her description is very vivid and realistic. She gets a certain distinctive experience that has made her feel the loneness of human being. Back in black and white screen she is on operation table. She says that she has seen a ghost. She runs away from the ghost and vanishes into the brightness on screen. She smiles shyly on black/white screen. Now she starts dancing passionately.
