Fred is in love with the girl next door, Judy (Pixie Lott). But his nemesis neighbor Kevin, thwarts all attempts Fred makes to see her, and when he finally succeeds in making it over to Judy’s house – she’s moved! With the advice of his super cool dad (John Cena), Fred embarks on an epic journey full of gut-busting fun to find her. So, jump in the kiddie pool and join Fred, Bertha (Jennette McCurdy), and the whole gang for "Fred: The Movie".
My children turned me onto Fred on You Tube and I fell in love with him. Lucas Cruickshank is as talented as Sasha Baron Cohen. I didn't expect much from the movie, but was so surprised to find myself laughing out loud! The silliness of the title character is as refreshing as Pee Wee Herman was. I almost weed my pants every time Fred screamed.
I was also surprised at the level of acting. Siobhan Fallon and John Cena are hysterical as Fred's parents, but the run away hit is Jennette McCurdy as Bertha. And that Pixie Lott has one incredible voice! The writing is superb. This is one of those movies that we will recite lines from for years and still laugh every time!!! Gammit!User Review on IMDB.com
