Bob Hope and Bing Crosby return as con men Chester Babcock and Harry Turner, in the last of their road movies. When Chester accidentally memorizes and destroys the only copy of a secret Russian formula for a new and improved rocket fuel, they are thrust into international intrigue, trying to stay alive while keeping the formula out of enemy hands.

Chester et Harry sont poursuivis par les services secrets soviétiques qui veulent récupérer une formule secrète détruite, mais restée en mémoire dans le cerveau de Chester. Ce dernier l'ayant oubliée, tous deux se retrouvent à bord d'une fusée envoyée sur la Lune…

Harry y Chester son dos cómicos. Cuando Chester pierde la memoria y ya no puede memorizar sus frases viajan al Tíbet en busca de unas hierbas que le devuelvan la memoria. Lo cierto es que todo sale bien. Tanto que Chester memoriza y, después destruye sin querer, la única copia que existe de una fórmula secreta rusa para la fabricación de un nuevo y revolucionario combustible para cohetes.

Due truffatori per uno scambio di persona si trovano implicati in un mondo fatto di spie e formule segrete che darebbero enorme potere e controllo a nazioni straniere. Diana infatti riconosce in Chester la persona a cui affidare il segreto che rivoluzionerebbe l'industria missilistica. I due insieme al socio del ragazzo, Harry inseguiti da spie finiranno per fuggire nello spazio, raggiungendo un mondo lontano, Plutonium.
