After killing their loved ones, the group of mercenaries in their search is launched in the recesses and magic of the sacred mountain of Montserrat. The young man, who called Bruce to the place of battle, must struggle just to survive and avenge his family. Cuando el ejercito de Napoleon descubre que su primera derrota se debe a un chico montanes, a un carbonero que, con su redoble de tambor, sembro el panico entre sus tropas, envia a seis mercenarios curtidos en mil batallas con una sola mision: darle caza en las montanas de Montserrat y cortar su cabeza para clavarla en la plaza del pueblo. Tras asesinar a sus seres queridos y atemorizar a todo el pueblo con sus amenazas, se lanzan en su busqueda por las montanas de Montserrat. Bruc (Juan Jose Ballesta) debera luchar solo por primera vez para sobrevivir y vengar a su familia. Se convierte asi en un simbolo de libertad y esperanza para su pais, que distingue en el a un heroe que consiguio lo que nadie habia logrado jamas: derrotar al ejercito invencible de Napoleon Bonaparte.
