Ellie and Adam go hunting for hidden corners of the UK landscape and meet some of the people who live there. They begin by exploring the unseen water world of the Brecon Beacons in south Wales, where Ellie confronts her fear of tight spaces to venture into Britain's deepest cave - carved through the rock by an ancient underground river - and a couple reveal how their lives were transformed when they bought a 200-year-old toll bridge over the River Wye. There are also visits to a mysterious pond known as the Witches' Pool and a magical walkway behind a waterfall.
Part 2: Mysterious Moors of Yorkshire
Ellie and Adam explore the moors of North Yorkshire. Adam meets a farmer whose father uncovered a Roman villa while ploughing, attempts to make a clay pot using 2,000-year-old technology and discovers the remains of a forgotten glass-making industry. Ellie finds out why Britain's highest pub, the Tan Hill Inn, was built miles away from the nearest customers, investigates the Whitby Yards - former slums that have become highly sought-after havens of peace - and visits the ruins of Rievaulx Abbey.
Part 3: Hidden Highlands of Scotland
In this final episode, Ellie and Adam explore the secrets of the Scottish Highlands. Adam climbs the north face of Ben Nevis, a spectacular rock ascent on which few tourists venture, and lives out his boyhood dream on a Wild West-style cattle ranch. Ellie probes a monster mystery in Britain's deepest water Loch Morar, visits an ancient shrine to healing on the Black Isle, and teams up with Adam to go hunting for Bonnie Prince Charlie's cave hideaway, before they take a magical ride on the real Hogwarts Express.
