    They should have done that. The fact, that it is aimed at the young ones, is not an excuse. Pixar has shown us that you can entertain the young ones and the older at the same time. And be classy while doing so. The fact that it is 3-D does not add any extra entertainment value. The fact that is preachy does evaporate almost any of it anyway.

    I'm not going into the animation (think of that what you want and you won't think it will rival any of the top animated movies, to put it nicely), but I will get into the story. Or the way it is portrayed. There seems to be no tone at all. Something that little children might be forgiving, but you can't expect the parents to do the same. The preachy undertone (more over-the-top-tone) is making so much noise, that you almost feel sorry for the movie. And it's a shame because it does have something important to say. But the way it handles that, is not helping. Quite the contrary. I don't think it will have any effect whatsoever in achieving anything in that direction! The script should have been the priority and not the (poor) 3-D effects
