Three young boys, Leche, Javi and Seba, of Montevideo are trying to survive to the week-end. They have a lot of problems in studies, girls, and the only thing that they do is drinking, sleeping or founding strange persons like a crazy delivery boy, a retarded, a drogs addict and a philosophic video renter.
Three teenage guys try to figure out what they're supposed to be doing with their lives in this drama from Uruguay that puts the emphasis on character over narrative. Javi has landed a job driving a sound truck that plays the same radio spot for pasta all day long, while his buddy Leche, who is supposed to be studying for his exams, instead finds himself having sexual fantasies about his tutor, and Seba is waylaid by a handful of small-time dope dealers when all he wants to do is go home and watch the porno movie he's just rented.
The acting is very good, all the cast. This film was shot in b&w 16mm and then blown up to 35mm. It has a grainy look, which adds certain raw atmosphere to it. It is Stoll and Rebella's first feature film (next one in 2004 was "Whisky"). It earned the Youth Jury Prize at the 2001 Rotterdam Film Festival.
