An autobiographical coming-of-age comedy about an 11-year-old, who’s having trouble adjusting to the ’hood he and his family have moved to in suburban Quebec City in 1981. The family has just settled into a bigger, nicer house, but they soon don’t have the cash to make their mortgage payments. His dad, Benito (Claudio Colangelo), is an Italian immigrant, which leads to some hilarious flashbacks in which young Ricardo imagines his dad as a kid being terrorized by Nazis (who just happen to speak in full-on Québécois slang).
Le film raconte un volet de la jeunesse de Trogi. À l'âge de 11 ans, en 1981, le jeune Trogi et sa famille s'installent dans une nouvelle résidence. Il se retrouvera alors le «nouveau» d'une classe dans laquelle ses camarades semblent provenir d'un milieu plus aisé que le sien.
