The 29-minute album is comprised of eight tracks that never crack the five-minute mark. Six of the songs all clock in at under four minutes. Such length is typically an artistic gamble; songs can either feel bigger and deeper if they’re concise and well-crafted (like how a movie can hint at a world much larger than the one depicted on screen for an hour and a half)

Haste The Day is a Christian metalcore band signed with Solid State Records from Carmel, Indiana, formed in 2001. Their band is named after a lyric in the hymn "It Is Well With My Soul". Strike! is the debut album released by The Baseballs, a German rock 'n' roll cover band, in 2009.

Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee. Since their inception in 2006, the band has released two studio albums and three music videos and are currently signed to Metal Blade Records. Whitechapel are notable for employing three guitarists, of which perform three specifically different parts during performances. Their band name is derived from the built-up inner city of London, known as Whitechapel.

Travis Lazarus "Travie" McCoy (born August 5, 1981) is the lead vocalist of the alternative hip-hop group Gym Class Heroes. In 2010, McCoy released his first solo single, "Billionaire". "Billionaire" is the first single from McCoy's debut solo album, Lazarus, which was released on June 8, 2010.

General Fiasco are an indie rock band from Northern Ireland. The band was formed by the Strathern brothers Owen and Enda, and Stephen "Leaky" Leacock who they met at a school in Magherafelt, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. They formed General Fiasco in early 2007 and played their first gig at the Glasgowbury Festival near their home town on July 26th of that year. They soon supported bands such as The Wombats, One Night Only, The Pigeon Detectives and The Enemy, and played at Oxegen, Belsonic and the Reading and Leeds Festivals.

Grinspoon are an Australian rock band from Lismore, New South Wales formed in 1995 and fronted by Phil Jamieson on vocals and guitar with Pat Davern on guitar, Joe Hansen on bass guitar and Kristian Hopes on drums. Also in 1995, they won the Triple J-sponsored Unearthed competition for Lismore, with their post-grunge song "Sickfest". Their name was taken from Dr. Lester Grinspoon an Associate Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, who supports marijuana for medical use.

Daysend is a metalcore/melodic death metal band from Sydney, Australia, assembled in 2002. Their debut album, Severance, was released the following year. Daysend released their third full length record, Within The Eye Of Chaos, on the 19th of February 2010, and are now touring nationally in support of the album.

Since their formation in 1995 they have taken part in the revival of the 1960s surf genre and continue to contribute to its survival and further development with their music. The Bambi Molesters perform regularly in Croatia and all over Europe, often opening for the US rock band R.E.M.
They have managed to build their reputation as a contemporary surf rock band. They differ from other surf rock revival bands in that their music is a continuation of vintage surf music.

Sisterworld, the follow up to Liars (2007), was written and recorded in Los Angeles by Liars and Tom Biller (Kanye West, Beck, Where The Wild Things Are / Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind soundtracks) This is the first Liars album to be recorded entirely in the USA since 2004s They Were Wrong, So We Drowned and sees Angus Andrew, Aaron Hemphill and Julian Gross taking inspiration from fringe characters lured to LA and the resulting subcultures and alternate spaces that they generate.Sisterworld is Liars own space, completely devoid of influence, somewhere remote from the false promises and discarded dreams amassed in LA. In it Liars explore the underground support systems created to deal with loss of self to society.

Cavo's four members — frontman Casey Walker, guitarist Chris Hobbs, drummer Chad La Roy, and bassist Brian Smith — champion a mix of hard rock muscle and alt-pop melodies. The latter three members formed the group in March 2001, and a series of setbacks (including one bandmate's disintegrating marriage and another's alcohol problem) helped fuel The Painful Art of Letting Go. The album marked Cavo's independent debut upon its release in 2006; moreover, it led to shows alongside the likes.
