Musical balm for body and soul. The guitarist Trond Kallevåg Hansen has created fantastic music and brought along a cream coat with young Norwegian musicians as well as Geir Sundstøl himself when he made the commissioned work Bedehus and Hawaii for Sildajazz 2018.

The work will now be thanks to the West Norwegian jazz center on tour where the first stop will be Track 5 in Stavanger. Bandleder Hansen, together with bassist Aleksander Hoholm and drummer Ivar Myrseth Asheim, all have their background from the jazz education in Stavanger. They bring one of the country's foremost musicians / guitarists Geir Sundstøl a man everyone wants to work with, most recently as a new guitarist in The September When and current with what many believe was last year's best album regardless of the genre solo album "Brødløs"

The title of the work "Bedehus and Hawaii" refers to the many summers Kallevåg Hansen spent with his grandparents at Bømlo, where the prayer house and the music were central. The combination of Trond's hot guitar sound and his lyrical compositions creates an almost cinematic quality. Melodies reminiscent of singing from family holidays to atmospheric improvised stretches such as the music of late car trips and half-wake dreams from the back seat.
