Balls to Picasso is the second solo album by Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, released in 1994. It is the first album in Dickinson's solo career that was released after he had officially left Iron Maiden (although he rejoined again in 1999). This record marked the beginning of Dickinson's collaborations with guitarist Roy Z, who would work on many of Dickinson's later albums including Accident of Birth, The Chemical Wedding and Tyranny of Souls. Stylistically it departs from Tattooed Millionaire but is still more traditional-sounding than the follow-up album Skunkworks released in 1996. Later, Dickinson said that he and Roy Z were talked into making the album less heavy than it should have been.

Bruce says: “While mixing my entire catalog in Dolby Atmos, I felt a burning desire to reinterpret and reinvent the record. 'More Balls To Picasso' was a labor of love. Of course, we amplified the guitars and even added new ones. Brazilian composer Antonio Teoli contributed stunning orchestral arrangements and, as a unique contribution, added indigenous Amazonian instruments at the beginning of 'Gods Of War' (which he had recorded himself when he lived there!). 'Shoot All The Clowns' benefits from a horn section led by Berkeley College of Music professors, and the entire record benefits from mixing by Brendan Duffey (The Mandrake Project), complemented by notes from Shay Baby, the original father of the album. Includes two previously unreleased live studio tracks: 'Gods of War' and 'Shoot All The Clowns'.”
