The vocal group VIP presents a diverse concert program with sacred and secular vocal music from Great Britain. There is music of the Elizabethan age with works by Thomas Tallis, his pupil William Byrd and other masters of the English Renaissance. With vocal works by Ivan Moody and Bob Chilcott, the ensemble also gives a little insight into contemporary British music. The whole variety of human emotions is experienced in compositions of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Edward Elgar, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Benjamin Britten and others tell with their music about love, longing, despair, discord, harmony and exuberant joy at the dance, before the concert ends with well-known hits of pop music.
