Parliaments 1975 album "Chocolate City" is the bands third album, fronted by the funkiest of funk George Clinton and Bootsie Collins. Other vocalists include Calvin Simon, Fuzzy Haskins, Grady Thomas, Raymond Davis, Gary Shider, Eddie Hazel and of course George Clinton. This is my first album by this band and I really love their psychedelic funky sounds and the use of the bass and keyboards. There's a lot of meaning to these songs from the time period that even slide into today's politics and racial innuendos.
Some great tracks here, such as; "Together", "What Comes Funky", "If It Don't Fit(Don't Force It)", and my favorite "I Misjudged You".
