The jazz musician and composer, who in recent years has been exploring the possibilities of musical creation through electroacoustic bass, presents the new Low Profile project at the Festival MED, in which he is accompanied by four other talented musicians also based in the Algarve: Sara Badalo on vocals, Leon Baldesberger on trumpet, João Campos Palma on accordion and Maximiliano Llanos on drums. With this new quintet, Marco Martins explores the limits of jazz sounds, trying, at the same time, to create something new in a musical universe that is always in constant movement. The group is preparing to enter the studio soon, with the release of the debut album scheduled for the last quarter of this year, so this concert will be a kind of rehearsal open to the public – and therefore also unmissable.
