Requirements
Your work / activities require you to do regular Risk Assessments
You have an important need to really understand what it actually means when you conduct a Continuous Risk Assessment and you require more specialized skills and techniques to mitigate dangers and hazards in your workplace, and elsewhere before they manifest
Internet access and smart phone, laptop or PC
Recording device and/or Pen and paper for field notes
Be able to move around (visit different areas for the practical exercises)
An inquisitive nature to discover, question and know hidden things
Prior knowledge/experience with types of Risk Assessments will be an advantage, particularly Continuous Risk Assessments and Monitoring
Description
With Situation Awareness 360, you will learn how to tune in to your environment, and by using all your 5 senses,  detect conditions, hazards, dangers, opportunities, etc. that could impact on your wellbeing, personal safety, your work safety and everyday life. Theory explains this powerful mind set combined with easy practical exercises comprised of Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels. Once you have mastered this course, you will be able to apply these principles to your own unique life / work environment.The secret to successfully applying this powerful mindset with positive outcomes in any environment, demands without a doubt that you know your environment very well within which you want to practice this skill. This valuable skill is taught using practical scenarios where you will start with a basic exercise and moving on to more advanced exercises. Examples and field exercises lay the foundation for your training and will help you to practice what you learn so that you can eventually venture out to self-discover more about your own specific area(s) / fields of interest and continue practicing this skill to increase your proficiency levels. These practical exercises take the place of my real world practical training sessions and should be effective if used with dedication and intent.What you will learn from this course, is a special mindset that applies to any work environment. The approach is generic in concept, for you to adapt to suit your environment of choice.
