Not that it was awful, it was just - useless. I saw lots of supposition about supposed traditions, which by the way, have little or no standing in real history. But of course, there could not have been any code in DaVinci's work unless it was put there from a much later time that knows about back masking and making something out of lots of gibberish nothings. It was VERY unfortunate that one with the credibility and class of Patrick McKnee was shouldered with the host position. The lack of class in production of the piece, the lack of accurate historical evidence and the lack of a clear line from the offered "evidence" to the conclusion (that there is a connection between DaVinci and a code secreted in his work, etc.) is very bad.

Female jumping spiders will attack and eat anything that moves. This often includes males who may be courting them. So, if a male falls short in convincing a female that he will be a good mate, he may become lunch. This is a compelling reason for males to work hard in perfecting their courtship dances. In the mating game, it is not always “do or die,” but the penalties can be severe, and there is no single tried and true approach when it comes to the fascinating strategy of attracting a mate. Charles Darwin called it “sexual selection.” NATURE is calling it What Females Want and Males Will Do for love — a two-part miniseries about sexual selection.

The Second World War In Colour is a three-part documentary which reveals hours of previously unseen colour film of World War II. As almost all newsreel film was shot in black and white, this DVD offers a completely new portrait of the war. Dramatic colour footage from as early as 1933 shows home movies of Adolf Hitler and his cohorts, the devastation wrought by the Blitzkrieg, life on the home front, D-Day and the Allied invasion of France, British bombers defying German fighters, the horror of the Holocaust that troops met as they entered Germany, and the jubilation of the final Allied victory. With John Thaw's narration intercut with spoken accounts from the letters and diaries of those who fought, those who survived, and those the war claimed as victims, this documentary is an extraordinary remembrance of a monumental time in world history.
