Son of a Czech prima ballerina and a famous American “secret agent,” Lemmy was raised on a farm, surrounded by horses, but was often on his father’s film sets, when he wasn’t playing violin or dancing in the Paris Opera Ballet School. But his natural tendencies led him down different paths. Lemmy traveled around the world and opened The Kabuki, one of the first Japanese restaurants in Paris, France.
During a prolonged stay in LA, he studied guitar and made friends with Harvard graduate Michael A. Lerner who became a screenwriter/director and Lemmy’s songwriting partner.
He writes screenplays and in commercials, documentaries and radio ads, his deep voice incarnates the archetypical charmer.
Lemmy has worked with Bruno Coulais writing & interpreting the title song for the film : Je préfère qu'on reste ami , as well as 2 songs in the film Brice de Nice.
Crazy about polo, he played in three consecutive French championships, and this passion inspired him to write a song and a screenplay.

This festival is organized every year since 7 years. It was born of the desire of some fans to promote the gypsy music to an amateur audience, offering the widest panorama of this culture, and inviting the best European groups on the matter. Translated from the editor

Patrick SAUSSOIS is not a gypsy born musician but he is one of the best guitarist of gypsy swing. He knows this world since decades and has founded one of the french best label for this music, DJAZ Records. The label had financial problems 2 years ago, but has reopen its production recently.

The name of his project is Flèche D'Or; also the title of a Django Reinhardt composition. Whether it is Gypsy Jazz, bebop or any other style, this is where you will be able to follow his musical journey.
He picked up the guitar in his teens and after having exploring various musical styles, he discovers the music of Django Reinhardt at the age of 19. For the next few years, he would dedicate himself exclusively to the style. To date, he has performed and/or recorded with the best musicians in the style such as Ritary Gaguenetti, Aurélien Trigo, Edd la Bish, Lollo Meier, Paulus Schäfer, Stéphane Wrembel, Chriss Campion, Andreas Öberg, Fapy Lafertin, Am Ketenes, Tim Kliphuis to name a few.

Outside of Gypsy Jazz, he is heavily influenced by other forms of jazz (bebop, fusion, latin), rock/pop, blues, classical; any kind of good music!

This is the original Vintage Guitar Series from Hot Club Records! It has become the label for a new generation of musicians inspired by the legendary gypsy guitarist Django REINHARDT (1910-1953).
The series is a journey through the magical world of the gypsy jazz today.
