Early Loading Tools and Bullet Moulds
    Publisher: Pioneer Pr | ISBN: 0913150622 | edition 1988 | PDF | 88 pages | 28,3 MB

This volume was written in the hope that it will be of value to people in several categories: First there are the gun collectors who may be interested in knowing what loading accessories were used with their various arms, and who may wish to assemble a collection of these items to accompany their principal collection. Such a trend is noticeable at gun shows, where, increasingly, displays include loading tools along with cartridges and other accessories.Dealers in used or antique arms, too, may find this volume useful, particularly in properly identifying loading tools and molds which they acquire with collections of guns. Such identification serves both the collector and the dealer. Reflecting on this, one wonders how many of the less-recognizable loading items, such as one-piece ball seaters have been cast aside over the years as collections change hands, simply for lack of knowing that they pertain to firearms.

    Home gunsmithing digest
    Gun Digest Pub. Co | ISBN: 0695801317 | edition 1970 | PDF | 319 pages | 374 MB

In considering this book for the home gunsmith and what should go into it, we spent long hours of acceptance and rejection of ideas. It will be noted, for example, that there is little mention of shotguns. It is deliberate. Tommy Bish feels that there is not really a great deal that the home gunsmith can do to a shotgun; not of a constructive nature, at least. And, for the man without professional training, there is a good deal that can be done to damage a scattergun. Bish does touch on some jobs for the shotgun enthusiast, but for the most part, this book is devoted to rifles, handguns and what to do about them.
