Clarkson bought a 1981 Lancia Beta Coupe, May bought a 1985 Mercedes 230E, while Hammond bought a 1963 Opel Kadett. Starting from the Botswana - Zimbabwe border, drive 1000 miles to the Namibian border.
Challenge 2: Cross the Makgadikgadi Pan successfully.
Challenge 3: Time trials round The Stig's African cousin's rally course.
Challenge 4: Cross the Okavango Delta.
Challenge 5: Cross a river in the car.
