Una storia d'amore / Love Story (1942)

It is a first attempt to revive Assia Noris, whose name had been tied up along all the thirties to light comedies, as a dramatic actress. Her acting in this film is excellent, but the popularity of the actress was definitely on the decline, so that, after the war, Noris will move away from the screen, except for a few rare appearances.

At the origin there is the drama "Life Begins" by Mary Dougal Axelson, on which in Hollywood had already been based "Life Begins" (1932) with Loretta Young and "A Child Is Born" (1939) with Geraldine Fitzgerald, both produced by Warner.
