Roskilde - The Music. The Party. The Feeling (2009)

This festival with up to 130.000 visitors is still one of the most important in europe and is seen as the successor of Woodstock. Roskilde presents an excellent line-up, in which the great names in rock and pop enter the stage. The amazing thing: The mega event is organized by 12 permanent employees who work voluntary and all profits benefit charitable organizations. The Danish filmmaker Ulrik Wivel, let us look at the festival through the eyes of the artists, the organizers and of course the visitors. Over the last eight years Wivel and his team have accompanied the festival, looked behind the scenes and completed at the end a fantastic and highly emotional music documentary. The result is not only a love letter to Roskilde, but rather to the whole festival culture.
