My Best Friend Is a Vampire (1988)

"My Best Friend Is a Vampire" is a 1988 American comedy about a young man, Jeremy Capello, who is turned into a vampire, and must fight for his survival as a "good" vampire that does not feed on humans. Jeremy is played by Robert Sean Leonard. Rene Auberjonois also stars as Jeremy's vampire guidance counsel. The horror-comedy themes include prejudice, identity, gender roles and adolescence.
