Morihei Ueshiba & Aikido

Produced in 1935, this exciting videotape showcases the aikijujutsu techniques of Morihei Ueshiba. The program begins with a documentary tracing Ueshiba from boyhood, including his meeting with Wokaku Takeda and Onisaburo Deguchi, through the 1930's. The final part features the amazing technique of Ueshiba at age 51. This film, in its original uncut version, includes a dazzling display of seated and standing techniques, sword kata, bayonet techniques, defenses against multiple attacks, and more.
