Two Gates of Sleep - by Alistair Banks Griffin (2010)

American writer and director Alistair Banks Griffin makes his feature debut with this beautifully haunting film. The story of two brothers who try to fulfill their dying mother's last wish. Griffin has a strong vision for haunting and beautiful images but his style overwhelms substance, specially in the story area. A more developed script would have made a big difference along with the solid cast and crew. The stunning cinematography by Jody Lee Lipes is outstanding and breath taking.
